Mirror Lake Station

Mirror Lake Station

11 Tuftonboro Neck Rd. Mirror Lake, NH  03853

The original Mirror Lake Station was built in 1961 on land donated by Grace and Charlie Rosell. In 1987, with funds donated by the Marriott Family, the station was renovated into a 3-bay facility with a meeting room upstairs.  This room became the department's business office and training room over the next 27 years until the construction of the Central Station.  After many years of studying historical incident data and calculating the needed fire protection resources required to meet ISO standards and NFPA recommendations, it was shown that the construction of the Central Station would cover a protection district that the Melvin Village and Mirror Lake Stations don't provide coverage to.  Additionally, it was determined that a majority of our incidents also occurred within the Center Tuftonboro District, hence the design, placement, and staffing of the Central Fire Station.
