TUFTONBORO PLANNING BOARD

 

 

  March 1, 2007

 

   Tony, Rick, Wilson, Sue, Joan and Dan convened at 5:00PM to interview  potential candidates to help the board continue with the  Master Plan follow through for the upcoming year.

  The board discussed each candidate. Dan made a motion to hire Whitman and Taylor. Joan 2^nd. All were in favor.

  Franks and Hewitt plan was presented. They have met all the conditions. Motion made to sign. Rick signed plans. 

 Wilson moved to approve February 15^th minutes. Dan 2^nd. All in favor.

 February 22^nd minutes: Add; Acknowledgement of Colleen Spycher’s letter was signed by Rick. Wilson moved to accept. Dan 2^nd. All in favor.

 Mike Phelps was present. He inquired about the Planning Boards review of the Conservation Easement for CJ Winny. Board has not seen it and will address it at the public hearing. They are on the agenda for March 15. He also asked about reviewing subdivisions and how they (Conservation Commision) would know about them. Board  explained that they have to be aware of the posted agenda. The PB cannot review plans unless it’s a posted agenda. It’s posted 15 days prior to meeting.

 Wilson had some concerns that he thought not all applicants are treated the same. Board discussed how or why  applications are handled differently. Type of land, location, abutters present etc come into play.

Rick had brought in assorted wraps, chips and cookies. Individuals provided their own beverage.
