Planning Board Meeting
July 26, 2007
7 pm meeting called to order;
Present: Sue Weeks, Jack Parsons, Dan Derby, Wilson Stewart, Ted Wright, and Steve from Taylor Associates. Also present was Claudia Payne.
Minutes from July 19th meeting corrected and approved.
Surveyor Ted Wright told Board that monuments have been placed and marked on plan, and Moody Hollow labeled.
Ted will hand deliver mylar to the Registry of Deeds on July 27.
Driveway permit and wetlands permit have been granted and presented to Board, and Ted delivered the State approval.
Mylar and paper plans signed by Dan Derby, vice-chairman.
Discussion with Steven Whitman, of Jeffrey H. Taylor & Associates, on needed changes in zoning regulations.
Members of board presented their lists of changes needed. Various proposed changes were separated into “housekeeping” and “substantive” and will be dealt with accordingly. Steve will flag the issues, and prioritize based on his interpertation of the key Master Plan concepts.
Steve will summarize the proposed changes in the categories recommended by the PB, and return that summary; he feels he has gathered a lot of information at this meeting. It will take a couple of weeks to draft and audit the report, after which he will send it (as a Word document) to the Board to look over a week before his next meeting with the Board on Wednesday, August 29.
The audit will be a working document for the Board, and help to set priorities. After discussion, Steve will make changes in the document and then return for another meeting.
Meeting adjourned 8:30 pm.
