Present at meeting: Heather Cubeddu (Town Office), Caleb Pike (Fire Department), Jack Parsons (Code/Health Officer), Scott Greenwood (Transfer Station), Chief Andy Shagoury (Police Dept.) and Dan Duffy (Selectmen’s Representative). Joe Kowalski in attendance.
Minutes from the March 26, 2007 meeting were reviewed. A motion was made by Caleb Pike to accept the minutes. Scott Greenwood seconded the motion. All in favor.
The Committee reviewed the annual inspection reports for the Departments. No additions/corrections to the reports.
The Committee scheduled a date to re-inspect Departments to see if recommendations have been addressed. The Committee will meet on Wednesday, November 14, 2007 at 1:00 PM to re-inspect the buildings.
The Committee reviewed five accident reports and will look into additional training for employees. It was also agreed that a sign would be purchased for departments re: safety. The first sign will be purchased for the Transfer Station/Recycling Center. Jack Parsons will also look into how much it would cost for a set of concrete steps into the glass container at the Transfer Station/Recycling Center.
The 2008 budget was reviewed and will be submitted to the Selectmen.
