If you are 18 years of age, a citizen of the United States and a resident of Tuftonboro you may register to vote at the Town Clerk’s office or with the Supervisors of the Checklist at one of their posted sessions. Please bring in your NH driver’s license. In addition, New Hampshire has a same-day voter registration law, which enables you to register to vote at the polling place on Election Day. Tuftonboro’s polling location is: Tuftonboro Town House, 247 Middle Road, Tuftonboro (not the Town Office).
The Supervisors of the Checklist also hold sessions in accordance with the requirements of state law. The sessions are held at the Town Office and are either evening or Saturday hours. The law also requires posting of those sessions in the local newspaper.
