Committee meeting on
Chairman Wood called the meeting to order at

Chairman Wood waived the reading and approval of the
previous Budget Committee public hearing held on
Handouts to members of the committee included the 17 pages
of the 2008 Town of
Selectman Weeks went over all changes and corrections to the
Tuftonboro Budget 17 page worksheets.
Page 2 – 4130. Corrected
stipend amounts to $450, $400 & $200
Page 5 – 4191- Removed
review from master plan
Page 10 – 4312 - added 0.00 to column 6
4324 - changed waste to used
Page 14 – 4520 – revised
column 5 to $36,000
Page 15 – 4619 – Changed the
Cheney Easement
4711 – added LT bond & notes
4721 – added interest LT bond & notes

Fund total and Grand total revised to $3,507,100.65 for column 5
(Selectmen recommended) and $3,497,100.65 for column 6 (Budget Comm.
Recommended)
The revised MS – 7 State Budget form was review and the
changes noted by S. Weeks with changes noted for Parks & Recreation.
Conservation, and the Budget Summary A discussion was held relative
the $10,000 for the Public Safety study and its funding source. Can we
use the 2006 funds not utilized or utilize a separate warrant article?
Needs to be researched with DRA and approved.
A motion was made for the Budget Committee by Wayne Black to
accept the recommended budget for 2008 at$3,497,101.00 second by J. Cook,
passed 5 – 0.
The final budget figures, with the estimated sources of
revenue, will be available on Tuesday,
