MEETING OF THE SELECTMEN

Tuesday September 27, 2005

Selectmen present:  Bill Stockman, Chip Albee and Susan Weeks.

 

The Selectmen met at 3 pm to open bids for the Transfer Station Project.

 

The 2 bids received were:

  • T. Buck Construction at $210,888.00
  • David R. Whitcher Builder at $165,369.00

 

Jay Poulin will pick up copies of the bids on Wednesday and report back to the Selectmen next Monday. Both bids were over the budgeted amount. Several suggestions were made to cut costs. The formal decision will be made Monday October 3rd.

 

 

The meeting was adjourned at 3:15 PM.
