Minutes:
The Selectmen’s meeting minutes of 2-14-05 were approved.
Items for Signature: Intent to Cut for Snow; Intent to Cut for
Bean.
At approximately 6:30
Selectmen met with Betsy McCarthy. Ms. McCarthy introduced herself and gave a
little of her background. Selectmen then approved the recommendation of Parks
& Rec to appoint her to the Parks & Rec Committee. Chairman Weeks
advised that the term would expire in June 2006 with reappointment possible
if she desired.
Selectmen approved and signed the following:
- Intent
to Cut for Edward Bean
- Intent
to Cut for Stephen Snow
- Payment
Application #3 for Moores
Marine
Selectmen briefly discussed a proposed change to the Cheney
easement by Ann Hackl. Chairman Weeks stated that she wants to see what happens
at Town Meeting before discussing. Selectman Albee advised that he wants Ms.
Hackl to support the warrant article at Town Meeting. Chairman Weeks will speak
to Ms. Hackl.
Selectman Albee proposed having the Selectmen review all
reports before they go into the town report. He also stated that the whole
board should write the Selectmen’s report. Much discussion ensued.
The Selectmen will meet next week at the regular time and
will then make themselves available at the town house
during the election.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:05
pm.
