MEETING OF THE SELECTMEN

Selectmen present: Susan Weeks, Bill Stockman and Chip Albee.

Items for Signature: Primex Schedule of Exposures.

The Selectmen held a special meeting this morning at 8 am to discuss the Cheney Farm Easement.

At approximately 8:10 Selectmen met with Ann Hackl to continue the discussion regarding the easement. Several changes were suggested by Town Counsel, Tim Sullivan, which were incorporated into the document. There was also discussion about not having the state and federal governments having control over the property. It was suggested that a warrant article be drafted for Town Meeting which would let the people decide if they want to pay for the whole amount and not involve the state and federal governments. It was eventually decided to go with a warrant article. If voted down then last year’s decision would stand. Ms. Hackl will type up new copies of the easement for review by the Selectmen. Selectmen agreed they would support the warrant article at Town Meeting.

Selectmen approved and signed the Primex Schedule of Exposures.

The meeting was adjourned at 9:35 pm.
