MEETING OF THE SELECTMEN

Selectmen present: Susan Weeks and Bill Stockman. Rick Chellman was absent.

 

Selectmen reviewed mail, which included:  Building Permits for Marco Antonelli, Jeremy & Wendeline Dill, Leonard Martin, Edward & Barbara Tierney, James & Tammy Champagne, Jeannine Bock; Inventory of Property Transfer from Lisa Lynn Perry et al to George Griggs et al, Foster & Audrey Davis to John N. Paras, Beatrice Johnson 1991 Trust to Jan K. Ludwig; Wetlands and Non-Site Specific Permit for Mary Beth Hertel; Letter re: National Flood Insurance program; Notice of GACIT meeting from DOT; The Inner Chamber; Request from Whelchel to remove trees on High St; Invitation from Munismart for one-day seminar; Primex letter which binds coverage; Primex welcome letter; The Tuftonboro Times; Healthy Kids Progress Report.

 

Items for signature:  Intent to Cut for Hodgdon; Lakes Region Conservation Trust re: Beatrice Johnson Conservation Evaluation.

 

Minutes: The minutes of the 6/30/03 meeting were approved. The minutes of the Non-Public meetings of 6/23/03 and 6/30/03 were approved.

 

Selectmen reviewed and approved building permits. Selectman Weeks will contact Dave Senecal to see if he would do several inspections that are pending.

 

At approximately 6:40 Selectmen met with Ann Hackl regarding the Conservation Commission’s report on town-owned property. The Selectmen would like to look at several parcels in Hidden Valley to decide which lots should be sold. It was agreed that Selectmen Weeks and Stockman would meet with Ms. Hackl on Wednesday July 16th at 3:30PM and look at the properties.

 

At approximately 7:30, Selectman Weeks made a motion to go into non-public session pursuant to RSA 91-A: 3 II (b) to discuss the hiring of a Code Enforcement Officer. Selectman Stockman seconded the motion. Roll call: Selectman Weeks – yes, Selectman Stockman – yes.

 

The meeting was adjourned at 8:00PM.
